His operational experience in the Army as well as his leadership role at Lane4 mean that he intuitively understands the pressures and responsibilities that senior leaders in business face, challenging himself everyday at Lane4 to be the most effective leader and coach he can.

1:1 Coaching

Dominic is an EMCC accredited performance coach with extensive experience of coaching at senior executive levels across a number of industries and sectors. These have included executive board directors in large retail, banking, health and aviation industries, mainly focused on individual and team development, leadership and organisational change. He has a particular interest and experience in coaching leaders transitioning into challenging new roles, and is literate in a broad range of business challenges faced by leaders in non specialist roles. Dominic also supervises coaches to ensure coaching quality and best practice and to provide education and support to the internal coach.

Coaching for Performance

Dominic is responsible for the strategic design and implementation of coaching for performance programmes across a range of industries in both the public and private sector. He has helped client companies to successfully develop coaching cultures and internal coaching capability during periods of significant change and business transformation. This has included delivering internal coaching accrediation programmes within many organisations. He is particularly interested in assisting clients in developing their own professionally accredited internal coaching resource.

Leadership and Team Development

Dominic has extensive experience in the field of leadership development, regularly designing and delivering programmes that are a key part of organisational engagement and performance strategies. He challenges senior leaders to participate and share their experiences within the process thereby integrating learning and development with delivery of performance. Through Return on Investment (ROI) measures he has demonstrated how leadership development impacts on organisational engagement and performance in a number of industry sectors. He has worked with teams at all levels of business to help clarify their purpose and engender authentic relationships and maximise complementary team skills. This has included facilitating off-site events, team development programmes and Action Learning for top teams in the aviation, banking and holiday sectors as well as the public sector.

Organisational Change

Through his Masters Degree in Organisation Consulting Dominic has had the opportunity to integrate leading edge theory in Complexity and Dialogue, Appreciative Inquiry and Organisational Change into his consulting practice. He is particularly interested in personal transitions inherent within organisational transformation, and working with key leadership populations to engage with the shadow side of their organisation in order to lead change. These 'moments of leadership truth' have included post-acquisition integration, sustaining performance during hostile takeovers and the loss of key executives at critical moments.

As a coach and consultant Dominic is informed by frameworks from cognitive-behavioural psychology as well as complexity theory, Gestalt practice and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP). He is a licensed NLP practitioner and certified in a number of developmental and diagnostic tools.
