Jonathan Zneimer is a Practice Director at Lane4. His approach to performance development is drawn from extensive commercial expertise and his background as a sport psychologist. He specialises in leadership and team development within the financial and legal sectors and is a member of the Psychology Advisory Group of the British Olympic Association.


Leadership and Team Development

Jonathan is an experienced leadership consultant having worked with senior leaders and board members across a range of organisations from leading law firms, to investment banks and pharmaceutical companies. In partnership with business and HR leaders he has designed, implemented and evaluated programmes to match organisational objectives and development needs. Key achievements include a programme for high potentials in the financial sector, designed to develop personal leadership skills, increase retention and create a more challenging corporate culture. He is able to draw on his personal experiences of working in the City as a futures LIFFE trader to help others to reach their potential and deliver sustained high performance.

Coaching for Performance

Jonathan has designed and delivered coaching programmes for a range of Lane4 clients. He is currently leading the current Lane4/Middlesex Coaching Performance Excellence Programme, an external course designed to develop accredited business coaches. The programme explores the philosophy of performance coaching, specific coaching tools and 1:1 coaching supervision to ensure delegates become effective coaches within their organisations.

1:1 Coaching

Jonathan is an experienced senior executive coach. His 1:1 coaching relationships occur at many levels, from senior executives to high potentials, from Directors and Managing Directors to Senior Partners of law firms. Key results include developing self awareness, moving from a transactional management style to a more transformational leadership style, coaching to deal with leadership challenges and improving the quality of appraisals.

Background

Jonathan graduated with a Masters Degree in Sport Psychology from Columbia University, New York in 1990. He became an Accredited Sport Psychologist in 1992 and has undertaken further training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Counselling Skills and Performance Enhancement Techniques Prior to joining Lane4 as a full-time consultant, Jonathan worked in the City and is qualified as a futures LIFFE trader. He is married with a young family.

Jonathan is a writer and contributor to the English Football Association, and has delivered programmes for the F.A. in 'Emotion and Performance' and 'Coaching the Coach'. Jonathan has also consulted with Arsenal Football Club Academy and Reserves, and is a member of the Psychology Advisory Group of the British Olympic Association.

Jonathan has made several TV and radio appearances, most notably as resident Sport Psychologist on 'Fighting Fit', a documentary produced by Discovery Channel.
