Natalie is Head of Communications at Lane4. She works in partnership with clients to bring organisational change and learning alive. She has worked with internal communications teams to support leadership & change communication as well as HR messaging. She has also led large-scale employee events. Natalie specialises in message development and employee engagement communication.

Change Communication

Natalie works in partnership with Lane4 clients to devise effective change communication plans and collateral. From bringing alive a performance management process with a sporting metaphor, to communicating an organisation's vision and values internally. Natalie specialises in employee engagement communication.

Employee Events

From key messaging to project management and the use of sport to bring content alive meaningfully, Natalie has worked in partnership with clients to design and deliver large-scale employee events and conferences.

Blended Learning

Creative audiovisual material is in increasing demand to support change communication as well as training and development programmes. In partnership with HR and L&D Teams, Natalie has designed and developed video content to support learning and change agendas.

Background

Natalie trained as a journalist at Cardiff School of Journalism, moving into marketing, PR and public affairs within two agencies before transitioning into in-house communications roles. Her experience incorporates internal and external communication covering message development, feature writing, as well as significant media exposure in challenging proactive and reactive environments. She studied French and Welsh literature at Cardiff University..

Natalie has competed for Great Britain at junior and senior level over 1500m, winning her first British title in 2002. She also competed for Wales at the 2002 Manchester and 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games. She represented Wales at junior level in basketball and was a county netball player before deciding to specialise in middle-distance running in her late teens..

Since retiring from international athletics in 2006, Natalie still enjoys keeping fit, running the occasional 10k for charity. She is passionate about writing and reading, aspiring one day to write a novel. She is a freelance writer, with articles published across a range of sectors.
