Paul Jewitt- Harris combines his role as Consultant Director with designing and delivering performance development programmes for clients. His approach to people and organisational development is drawn from a diverse business background. He works with individuals and teams to create a sustainable change towards higher performance and balances this commitment with ensuring that Lane4's consultant pool and product offerings remain at the highest possible standard.

1:1 Coaching

Paul is an accomplished executive coach having coached at the most senior level across a range of industries. His particular expertise lies in the legal sector where, balancing demanding lawyer roles with leadership and management positions is a familiar challenge. He has worked at Director Level at an international firm and coached at Partner level across Asia Pacific, France, Germany, Holland and the US. Working across language barriers and diverse cultures has complemented Paul's use of pure coaching skills and his appreciation of the regional challenges which affect approaches to leadership development.

Coaching for Performance

In addition to 1:1 executive coaching, Paul has led the implementation of global Coaching for Performance Programmes within private and public sector organisations. Working in partnership with HR Directors and Senior Leadership Teams, Paul has designed bespoke interventions aimed at embedding a coaching culture for improved performance, helped client companies to successfully sustain that environment and develop internal coaching capabilities during periods of significant change and business transformation.

Leadership and Team Development

Paul is an experienced leadership consultant and works with leaders, senior teams and boards to facilitate improved performance through raised awareness and effective communication. He has worked with senior teams to manage conflict and explore the issues which cause challenge and with merging and newly formed teams across different cultures. Paul has worked across three continents and has great experience in facilitating diverse groups, for example leading a group session with input from 14 different nationalities. He has experience working with high profile organisations, supporting them to manage complex internal and external stakeholder relationships whilst driving high performance. From clarifying purpose to goal development in line with team vision, Paul enables leaders to explore, understand and develop their personal leadership style.

Background

Paul has a Degree in Business Studies and is a Neuro-Linguistic Programming Master Practitioner.

Before joining Lane4 as a full-time consultant, Paul encountered a diversity of interesting roles. These have ranged from his early days repairing heavy duty earth moving equipment to line management in the city and running his own business making medieval arms and armour for use in film and theatre.

Paul has a fascination with building and all the problem solving challenges it involves. Over the years this has ranged from converting the family home from a bungalow to a house, to the detail that goes into making arrows that shoot accurately.

Paul is married with two children and has a wide range of interests that vary from music production to triathalons. He is a keen musician playing the drums and guitar, recently joining some of his Lane4 colleagues to form a band.
