JLT and Lane4: Brandon Hall Group Gold Award

Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) and Lane4 are delighted to have won a prestigious Brandon Hall Group Gold Award for Excellence in Talent Management in the category of Best Advance in High Potential Development.

Operating an international network in over 135 countries, JLT is one of the largest insurance broking networks in the world.  In 2015 the Emerging Leaders programme was launched, in response to a need to grow their talent pipeline from within, by providing consistent training and development for emerging leaders from across the global organisation. Another key factor was to enable collaboration by bringing together a network of colleagues to help build relationships across borders.

JLT selected consultancy, Lane4, to partner with them on delivering an innovative programme over 9 months which included extensive psychometrics, development coaching, on-line leadership development modules and an immersive residential training week.  This included a number of innovative experiential activities such as raft building, equine assisted leadership and wheelchair basketball. The cross-functional, multi-national groups of delegates also collaborated on a business simulation and made video diaries of their learning through the week.

This was a very high-profile programme and the first time we’d brought together such a large group at this level in a structured way.
