Where has your passion for performance come from?

My family has had the most influence when it comes to performance, from both a sport and business perspective. Being an only child, I didn’t have any siblings to compete with growing up so I would compete with myself by trying to do things quicker/better. Throughout school, my passion for sport, and netball in particular, fed that drive for performance. It has driven me into a long affiliation with all things netball related, currently in the form of playing for a Premier Division league team.

What gives organisations the winning edge?

For me, it’s their people. If someone is fully engaged with and motivated by an organisation, and is aligned to its values and ethos, this will permeate into their wider network. With teams of these people, the ripple effect spreads even wider. With the right people, the winning edge is organic!
