Brandon Hall Gold Excellence in Learning 2019

Mott MacDonald is a global engineering, management and development consultancy headquartered in the UK. The largest privately-owned (by its employees) business of its kind, they employ over 17,000 people and have projects in over 120 countries around the world.

The Emerging Leaders programme has created a global talent pipeline of leaders with the skills and experience to ensure that Mott MacDonald remains competitive in a fast-paced and digital environment.

The multi-stage blended programme was created to take delegates through a leadership development programme, delivered via face-to-face workshops, coaching and webinars. This was followed by a tailored career development programme.

Kevin Moore, Group Head of Organisational Development and Change at Mott MacDonald, said:

“We’re delighted to have received this international award. When designing Emerging Leaders, the team, spearheaded by Paul Smith, set out to create a very different kind of development programme. We knew that to nurture a genuinely global community of talent we would need to draw on a blend of different learning, not only for practical reasons but also to tailor to different learning preferences. For me it’s been like throwing a stone into a pond: this programme has created all these fantastic ripples of positive disruption that certainly exceeded all of our expectations.”
