For me, performance is about being the best you can be. Committing to that journey brings a richness of experience (both ups and downs!), a wealth of opportunities and a sense of achievement that can’t be matched by doing anything else.

I’m always impressed with organisations that give people the freedom to make mistakes. A leader who gives team members permission to fail, provides good quality feedback and coaches team members to improve will always get better commitment and performance from their team and organisation in the long run.
